Born in Colorado and raised in the mountains, I spent hours outdoors riding, tweaking, and piecing together bikes. Following years of racing bikes I went to the University of Colorado at Boulder in pursuit of a degree in sports medicine. Quickly after starting I decided to switch tracks to astrophysics to pursue something new and exciting. The switch led me to a series of fantastic internships, jobs, and ultimately to graduate school at the Lunar and Planetary Laboratory at the University of Arizona.

I defended my dissertation in January 2022 and am currently an assistant research professor at Auburn University working on UV observations of comets obtained with HST, NIR observations of main belt comets, and HST observations of tiny active objects out by Jupiter.
